Over the past 30 years, my weight has cycled up and down from the 140s to the 180s. I would exercise off and on, and I tried Weight Watchers, the TOPS diet, and Nutrisystem. For the past 15 years, I had been taking Lisinopril for high blood pressure and Adderall for ADD.

I eat totally plant-based, now, keep my weight down, and exercise. Still, I have high blood pressure and must take meds for that. I know this way of living is good for the heart and all, but readers should understand that it doesn’t always do away with the blood pressure issue.
