Not fully true, in a vegetarian or vegan diet, iron must be combined with Vitamin C in order to be effective. Yes you can get iron from all of the foods above, but without Vitamin C it will not take effect.

I understand Stephen, but no vegan of my aquaintance has a diet deficient in vitamin C,
