I  heart lot of folks  extol the virtues of grass fed  and free range livestock suggesting it’s less cruel and more  “humane.’  Yet, all of this livestock is destined for the plate and will be slaughtered. I challenge anyone  to spend some time on the kill floor of a slaughter house and then try to convince themselves that what goes on there is humane rather than inhuman. There is no such thing as humane slaughter.
